Know Your Status
The prevention program at Bethany Place offers free HIV testing, counseling, and referral. We offer OraQuick with results in 20 minutes, or OraSure with results in one to two weeks. The testing that we do is an oral swab meaning no blood, no needles. All testing is free and confidential for individuals 13 or older. A brief pretest risk assessment is required. Walk-ins arewelcome from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. Appointments are preferred. To make an appointment call 618-234-0291, extension 112. Some outreach testing is done on nights and weekends, call for a schedule of locations and times.
